Let’s go to the party today with Little Brother
and see what happens!
Sometimes we even played games, like
pin to tail on the donkey. Try as I might, I could
never see through that blind fold. One time
that sticks out in my memory was when mom made me go around in a circle for a minute or two and then said...GO! Well, go where, I had
no idea which direction the donkey was never
mind being able to pin the tail.
Pin the tail I did, oh yeah, I stick Grandma Post right in the knee with the thumb tack. Seems
she was sitting down reading a birthday card
and did not see me heading towards her.
Ouch, she screamed ; after that we have not
played pin the tail on the donkey at any family birthday parties! I can’t understand that, after all it was only ONE little tack!

This book is about a young boy and the many people in his life. It’s about family, growing up, making choices.
Little Brother is always ready to use Plan A to get himself out of situations. Often he finds that his plan does not work, but rather gets him into more complex situations. He is a lovable young boy who loves life and experiences it to the fullest. His adventures will help you relate to your own life.
At the end of each adventure, Little Brother turns to the only ONE who understands him fully and loves him unconditionally.
About the Author
Penny Zombik has worked with children of all ages for many years. Her first position as a kindergarten teacher set the stage for a career in teaching and caring for young children. Penny spent several years working within school systems as an assistant to special education teachers. She then opened up a preschool in her home, where many young children began their road to learning. Penny also taught Sunday school for many years.
It is her desire to see more young people reading again and to keep alive the great art of storytelling in the lives of young people.
Penny lives with her husband, Rev. David T. Zombik, in the metro area of Memphis, Tennessee. After raising a family of four daughters in New England, the Zombiks have relocated to the South. Penny being a Southern girl and her husband a Northerner has made for an interesting life. The Zombiks are currently serving on the Ministry Team of their local Church. Since being voted in as Sunday School Directors, they have been busy teaching the Adult Sunday School Class and the new Life Builders Class. They also have been training the Sunday School Staff in areas of implementing more of the Word into the classroom as well as the different teaching techniques that can be used to reach today’s children.
