Dreams and Visions in the Night

THE VISION IN THE NIGHT I want to share a dream or revelation the Lord gave me some years ago. Although I’ve had more than one visitation about Russia, this one in particular was very specific. I knew I was in a certain city in Russia and I knew it was an open place. I could feel the atmosphere, and all was in full living color. Seeing a woman with a red scarf on her head, I asked, “How do you pronounce the name of this place?" "Is it Elista' or…”, but before I could finish she walked over to my bag, reached inside, and pulled out Kenneth Hagin’s book, Plans, Purposes, and Pursuits. She said, “This is what I need.” The amazing thing about this dream was I had never heard of Elista’ before, only of Moscow and St. Petersburg. When I awoke, I went to the map and there it was, in the southwestern part of Russia between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, not too far from Chechnya. I had read Kenneth Hagin’s book before, but now I knew there was a connection and the answer to getting there was in it. I knew God had a plan and a purpose and I was to pursue it.
