From Victim To Victor

This is our life stories to date. It is an account of two totally different persons. We came from different parts of the world, different cultures, different religions, and different personalities. I believe the last thing on either of our minds was to become involved in a lasting relationship with someone who was so different. But God, in His wisdom, brought two lives together in this “mixed marriage”. As a consequence, some very incredible results were brought about. I am nobody famous or special, just a child of the Almighty God, author of this universe. I have had my ups and downs. The title I chose for this book suggests that in this life we are either a victim or a victor of the circumstances in which we find ourselves. My own views of life have oscillated back and forth between the two views, usually because of the generally accepted view that successful activities make you a victor. As I have gone through life and viewed the results from a worldly point of view, I believed I have failed miserably on numerous occasions. At those times when I try to view my life from God’s point of view, with my assumed limitations, then I appear to be a victor. The purpose of this book is to encourage you, when life’s problems hit you, and you feel victimized, to try hard to take a look at your circumstances from the perspective of what is God accomplishing through you.
