Preface I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prosper. 3 John 2. This is God’s will for us all. But not everyone receives them. His promises are for those who believe. We must receive his promises and believe them. And instill them in our hearts. And then pray the promises that God has for us. We instill God’s word in our hearts by reading, and meditating on them until they become flesh to us. God’s word becoming flesh in our life is manifested by believing by faith, and letting his word transform our lives and play out in situations we confront on a daily basis. Living day to day give rise to opportunities to put God’s word to the test. We are tested daily. But God’s word is tried and true. We must also be in right standing with God. Then we can have the inheritance of God’s promises. This is “Standing in the position” to receive our promise. Then as Ephesians 6:13 puts it, having done all to stand, we can stand therefore. Galatians 3:28,29 says, there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. God’s promises is a gift to all those who receive. When we receive God’s promises for our lives and believe that they will be fulfilled, we must next confess them. Confessing God’s word helps to seal the promise. Job 22:28 says, Thou shall decree a thing and it shall be established. Many times we do not take the time to confess God’s word out loud. Webster dictionary defines decree as an official order issued by a legal authority. In the bible, when the king makes a decree. It was understood that what the king said, was going to stand. No matter who disagreed. We are kings and queens of the kingdom of God. And God has given us authority to use our words to make decrees according to his will and his word. I encourage you to confess these promise scriptures and prayers with confidence. Making your personal decree inward with confidence, but verbally expressing them openly. Receive God’s promises. Believe that they are for you. And then decree them in the atmosphere. Walking in his word daily with faith and patience. God’s word can become flesh to you, manifested and fulfilled in your life. As you say these scriptures and pray these promises, make them your personal confession for your life. Expect mountains to be move in your life. As you experience his presence and his will for your life.
