About the Book
There are many women in the Bible who are not often as noted as are the men. I have taken some of them and suggested what each of their voices might have been if they had spoken for themselves. The women come from both the new and old testaments and cover the “saints” as well as the “sinners”
About the Author
Agnes Fisher was born in the Netherlands, raised in New Jersey . She has resided in Grand Haven, Michigan for the past three years. She lives with her husband, John and Husky, Ramsey. Her paintings are signed with her Dutch name, “Akke”. She designs her own book covers. Ms. Fisher graduated from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan with a major in English and minor in Art. She has taught both English and Art on the secondary level for many years, in Michigan, Indiana and New Jersey both in the public and private sectors. She has published two novels with a third in the series in the works. She has also published many poems in small poetry journals. The latest, “Mary Magdelene”, one in a series of twenty seven women of the Bible, was published two years ago in “Perspectives”, the journal of the Reformed Church. At the present time Ms. Fisher teaches English and Art, part time at Western Michigan Christian High School in Muskegon. Akkearte.com
