Today’s schedules are packed full of work, activities, and family events and church. Let’s face it we are busy. We find ourselves getting tired just trying to keep up with everything and then a storm comes into our lives and we forget we are not powerless to effect change. Jesus promised He would never leave us or forsake us. We may feel forsaken, we may feel lonely but we can’t operate by what we feel but by what we know. We know He is with all who believe. We know He loves us, He died for our sins, we know He is coming back, however sometimes we forget He gave us power. The Word teaches us that as many as believe on Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God. That promise is for us. If you believe on Him that promise is for you. Our challenge is to remember each and every day that we have power living within us as a child of God and we can access that power to live an abundant life before we get to Heaven. We don’t have to settle for getting by or just surviving, He wants us to live in abundance. He wants us to live with joy.

About the Book
People of Power is designed to teach us to use the supernatural power God has placed within the heart of every believer. Encouraging us to recognize opportunities to use God's power in our lives and how using God's power can change your life. People of Power brings to the forefront of our mind the sources of our power and equips us to put them into action in everyday situations in our lives.
About the Author
I am a graduate of Oakland City University with a Master's Degree in Management and I have served as a Pastor for 22 years. In my role as a Pastor I have seen many struggles both personnally and among members of my congregation. One thing I have noticed over the years is that in times of trouble we feel powerless to effect change. One night I had a dream and in that dream I was a soldier, wearing armor, facing many enemies. I would call on the name of Jesus and the enemies would fall. I awoke the next morning with the theme "People of Power." The Lord began to give me ideas, scriptures and thoughts so I wrote them down and People of Power moved from an idea to a reality by the power of God. God's people need to know we do have power, we do have promise and we do have hope. I pray this book is a blessing to you and will empower you to live by the Power of God within you. I pastor the Marengo Christian's Missionary Church in Marengo Indiana where we have put these scriptures and philosophies into practice and God is blessing us greatly. People are being saved, healed and lives are being changed by the power of God. It is a joy to worship with my three children; Crystal who is 17, Carley is 11 and Rease is 4. I want them to grow up knowing that God's power is not a myth but something available to all who believe.
