I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul (Ps. 121:1–8 NKJV).
No Worries
As I thought and stirred as I sat,
I worried about this and worried about that.
The LORD said, “Worry about nothing, have no alarm,
I’ll watch over your life, I’ll keep you from harm.
When you have trials in the day or in the night,
I’m always with you, I’ll help you fight.”
The LORD is always there, He never sleeps,
On our Savior above our eyes we should keep.
Then He will lead us so we won’t fall,
He’s our defender, He’ll hear our call.
As I thought of His care as I calmly sat,
I now worry about nothing, He’s taken care of that.
