About the Author
D.G. Norris taught in elementary schools for thirteen years. She specialized in reading instruction and children with learning disabilities; she also coached high school girls’ basketball, volleyball, and track for two of those years. In these fields, motivating and inspiring young people to do their best- work extremely hard - and never give up – was part of the job. Now, as a parent of three, she and her husband are striving to instill those qualities in their own children. Love of God, Country, family, and friends are their passions. They reside happily in northwest Houston, in the great state of Texas.
