Job undergoes a conversion in his mind and heart: from complaining about what he has lost to
concentrating on what he is—a son of God. In the realization of his sonship he experiences the meaning of
his existence; he discovers the meaning of life. . . God alone is good. Everything we have is a gift. The

About the Author
Luan Louis experienced the grieving process when she lost her husband of 30 years in 2004. She has been an apprentice with The Christian Writer’s Guild and is a Proverbs 31 Ministry alumna. Her work has been published in Alliance Life magazine and The Secret Place devotional. She has been active with the church drama team and written for the church devotional booklets. Luan currently works part time as an MRI technologist and lives with her new husband and old cat in Beavercreek, OH.
