My second purpose is to give the reader knowledge of the respect and value the first Colonists, our fore-Father Framers and others gave the Ten Commandments, and the Commandment’s Author. Understanding that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is infinitely wise and that rejection of His Law led only to turmoil, tyranny and poverty of spirit our Founding Fathers enthusiastically and humbly embraced the biblical Moral Law as their own. They based our judicial system on the Law of Nature and the law of biblical revelation and embedded them into the social, economic, political and spiritual fabric of the new republic. However, in spite of godly men and women standing for truth in every generation, over time, the foundation they laid began to erode until now in the early 21st century an energized, agenda-driven movement is on the verge of completing the purging of every vestige of God’s Law and Name from political and public life. The spirit of deception and distortion that has taken over the hearts and minds of many in the land has made us vulnerable as never before to the forces of evil and another religion filling that spiritual vacuum. Today the American people have a desperate need to know and understand the roots from which they came and to rediscover and re-establish in their personal and public lives the principles upon which God blesses people and nations. With that in mind I quote copiously from the Colonists, the Fathers of our nation and many others from all walks of life throughout history. Our heritage is very, very spiritually rich, and returning to the founding principles is the key to the recovery of our Lord’s hand of blessing. Introduction, pages 7-8

Written for families, businesses and churches the author lays out ways our nation can return to our foundation and regain our lost dignity, security and well-being.
About the Author
James Tasker is a priest in the Anglican Church in North America serving churches in New York and Ohio. He earned a BS in Biblical Education from Columbia Bible College, a Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and a Doctor Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Jim gave his life to Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade in his home town of Adelaide, South Australia. Shortly thereafter he moved to Melbourne to work at The Age newspaper. Desiring further adventure he took a position with Namasu, a Lutheran Mission sponsored business, in Banz, New Guinea, training New Guineans in business. While there he received a call to further his education in the USA. Jim’s love for his adopted country, his concern as he watches it rapidly decline as it moves away from the cultural moorings that the Founders carefully laid, and love for the Lord, are the inspiration for Restoring Cultural Foundations: A Wake Up Call to America. He lives with his wife Rose-Marie, an intercessor with the world wide Anglican Communion, in Aurora, Ohio. They are blessed to be in close proximity to all of their 6 children and 13 grandchildren and enjoy their little dog, Daisy.
