When I gap what He is truly like I begin to understand a little better the joy of the blind man Christ healed. This poor fellow had been blind from birth. The Savior applied mud to his sightless eyes, and told him to go wash it off in the pool of Siloam. After he washed he could instantly see. He ran through the temple shouting praises and telling everyone what had happened. By this miracle Jesus was trying to reach the spiritually blind leaders When questioned by those religious authorities as to how he got his sight, he stated, "I don't know how, and I don't even know who did it, for I did not even see Him; all I do know is I was once blind and now I see." The blind man's experience was just like what the Old Testament prophet Isaiah experienced. In the darkest moment of his life, his eyes were opened through a vision of the Lord of Hosts, high and lifted up. He became overwhelmed by the realization of what God was really like, and how much He loved all men. The prophet heard the conversation among the Godhead asking the question, "Who will go and tell the truth about us?" He responded loudly, "Here am I, send me!" I have written this book because I cannot hold back from telling what I have come to understand. I pray it will bring to you fresh insights into what your Father is like, and how much he loves you....So the journey I want to invite you to go on with me is full of amazing discoveries. I want to share why it is essential to know Him, how He truly feels about us, and Who He is as He has revealed Himself through His names.

About the Book
This book is about a journey in knowing Him. It is easy to forget what Christianity is about; there is an enemy of our souls who wants to make sure of that. The essence of all Christianity is to know Him who to know is life eternal. This book will start you on your personal journey in knowing Him in a way He desires for us to know Him. Eugene H. Peterson, describes this journey in Psalm 84:3: “And how blessed all those in whom you live, whose lives become roads you travel; They wind through lonesome valleys, come upon brooks, discover cool springs and pools brimming with rain! God-traveled, these roads curve up the mountain, and at the last turn--Zion! God in full view!”
About the Author
I have thirty three years of professional experience which qualifies me to write this book. Seven of those years were spent as a pastor; thirteen years I served as a professor of theology and practical religion, eight of those thirteen years I was the chairman of the Theology Department. The remainder of the time I have been involved in private counseling practice, serving as an adjunct professor of Psychology, teaching correspondence and online courses in religion and psychology. I hold a Masters in Theology, a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Doctorate of Ministry, and two professional counseling licenses. My greatest qualification for writing this book is my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. From this relationship comes a burning passion to share my understanding of the height and depth of the love that went to the point of death to provide for me a way back to eternal fellowship with them. Along with my wife, who also is a licensed therapist and one who has this fire burning within her, and another couple, we have formed a ministry called, “Knowing God Ministries.” We travel to wherever we are invited to present weekend seminars to share the treasure of knowledge we have discovered in the various names God calls Himself.
