You can’t stop them from coming! Just as surely as if an expert marksman, with bow in hand, took aim at you and let his arrows fly, they are headed toward you all day, every day. What you do with them is up to you, but be careful, for they will affect every aspect of your life. They will range from unimportant to extremely important to urgent to unchangeable to eternal. And they will lead to decisions that will lead to actions that will lead to consequences—sometimes minute, sometimes life-changing, and sometimes deadly to yourself and others. You and only you can make the final decision on what you will do with each and every one of them. What are they? Choices! Which, of course, includes THE CHOICE of all choices!

Sadly, in today’s society, children and youth are frequently faced with adult-sized choices at astonishingly young ages. Therefore, it is imperative that they are aware of the adult-sized choices they may face and receive godly counsel in how to handle them.

It is often difficult for adults to broach certain topics with children and youth. Likewise, it is often difficult for children and youth to broach certain topics with adults. For these reasons, Choices! was written. Choices! is a powerful, unique, and delightful resource designed to easily foster the much-needed open and honest communication between children, youth, and adults.

About the Author

Cathy Breland has been involved in adult, prison, and children’s ministry, as well as public speaking through her ministry of encouragement, Take Heart.
