Renee realizes that philanthropy can help children appreciate their comfortable lives while assisting people in need. In 2007, she met Annie Wignall, the focus of Somebody Cares! Annie epitomizes a girl who wants to help others. Her story of dedication to helpless children serves as an inspiration to all who want to make the lives of unfortunate children easier. What began as a small operation helping local children in Iowa has blossomed into The Care Bags Foundation, which ships Care Bags around the world. He bags have gone to the children of the victims of the 9/11 disaster, the displaced children of Hurricane Katrina, and children needing supplies in Third World countries. Renee is a frequent visitor to her local post office where she sends many homemade bags to Care Bags 4 Kids.
