About the Author
Lori Johnson has a masters degree in elementary education and is a national board certified teacher. She has taught kindergarten for eleven years and children in her church for twenty years, since she was sixteen. She has two sons, ages seven and four.
Lori wrote The Prodigal Penguin while on maternity leave with her second child. She says, “God has not let me forget about this and has recently impressed it upon my heart to pursue the publication of this story. I do not want to look back on my life and wonder ‘What if…’. God has a plan and I need to have faith that he will take care of me through this process.” Lori lives in Saltillo, Mississippi, and is children’s director and VBS director at her church.
