As East Star began scrubbing some of the star dust off Mr. Brilliance he said” Polish me well today son because I have to shine extra bright tonight. There is a lost ship at sea and I have been assigned to guide it safely home.” “I’ll do my very best!” said East Star. And he began to polish and polish and shine and shine until he had to put on his star sun glasses. “Well I’m done Mr. Brilliance, now you can go and guide that ship home.” “Thank you East Star”, and off Mr. Brilliance twirled into the heavens.

About the Author
I am a 57 years old ,wife, mother of a blended family of 4 adult, grandmother of 12 great grandmother of 3 . Minister for over 21 years, Community Organizer since 1979. Advocate for abused children. Founder of The Illinois Task Force for Children of Prisoners Children of Promise. Writer of several educational brochures for youth : "Youth and Depression written with the assistance of youth", and "Good Shhush Bad Shhush brochure on when to talk and when not". Founder of first Adult Foster Care Homes in the State of Indiana for aged and disabled as an alternative to a nursing home, with an emphasis of staff bringing children to work to encourage intergenerational life sharing moments thereby instilling hope to each other.
