The thirty-nine individuals shown above at the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787 had risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in order to create a great nation. They then entrusted the preservation and protection of that nation to “We the People.” Since we are charged with such a huge responsibility, it only stands to reason that we should be required from time to time to step back and consider how we are doing in carrying out our responsibilities. The purpose of this book is to force each of us to ask ourselves whether we are living up to the responsibilities that were given to us by our founders. The United States of America is the oldest surviving constitutional republic made up of a federation of states to ever have been formed. When you reflect upon the fact that the United States comprises just 5 percent of the population and geographic land area of the entire world yet it has created more new wealth than all the rest of the world combined, one is forced to admit that our founding fathers were on to something when they created this nation! “Are we being true to those people who sacrificed all to give birth to this great democratic experiment?” It is essential that “We the People” of the United States ask ourselves from time to time, “are we being true to those people who sacrificed all to give birth to this great democratic experiment?” In the pages of this book, you will be shocked to learn that not only have we failed to preserve and protect the nation that has been entrusted to us, but that “We the People” have actually allowed it to be substantially changed from the intent of our founding fathers. We have allowed our nation, and therefore the principles of our founders, to be abused and corrupted; and this abuse and corruption has, most recently, been accelerating out of control. “America’s real challenge of today is not financial. America’s real current challenge is that its very survival is at risk.” The past few years, particularly since late 2008, have been especially difficult ones for America. America is on hard times, but not for the reason that might first come to mind. Yes, our nation has been experiencing some challenges in the stock, bond, and real estate markets due to the fact that we are currently digesting some past financial excesses. But we have gone through these experiences many times in our history. What most people don’t understand is that America’s real challenge of today is not financial. America’s real current challenge is that its very survival is at risk. America is changing and changing very quickly. No one should necessarily be an alarmist, yet we should all be realists.” Please understand and be aware that America is changing and changing very quickly. This book is written with a few simple goals in mind. Those goals are to inspire, educate, and motivate the reader to thought and to action. America remains the same nation today as at her founding: the last best hope for man on earth. We dare not take this for granted, yet I fear that far too many of us have done just that. Read this book. Consider where you believe America stands today relative to when she was founded. Consider where America is headed. Consider carefully whether you should become more involved. It is important to constantly bear in mind what one of our nation’s founders and her second president, John Adams, told us at the time of our nation’s founding: “A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."

In the past year the elected leaders of the government of the United States have taken that nation down a road that can only lead to disaster. The federal government of the United States has borrowed more money in the past year alone than all of the debt accumulated since the nation's found more than 200 years ago. In the process of bankrupting America, the nationally elected leaders have on many occasions literally ignored the Constitution of the United States. The American people are patient; however, their patience has reached the breaking point, and, as a result, BIG changes are just around the corner for America. The book titled "Our 2nd American Revolution: Honoring the Sacrifice of our Founders" spells out how the American people will "take back" their nation beginning on November 2nd, 2010. This book includes a "Nine Point Plan to Save America from an otherwise certain demise" and breaks down step by step what must be done if America is to survive in the future. Our 2nd American Revolution is a book about saving America. America has drifted very far away from the fundamental principles that allowed her to become the richest and fastest growing nation ever to have existed. As a result, America is on a collision course with certain disaster. The goal of the "Our 2nd American Revolution" is to sound a loud wake up call to all Americans who love thier country and cannot bear to see the great American experiment fail. America can be saved if dramatic and bold action is taken soon. However, time is of the essence and the citizens of American must act, and act very soon.
About the Author
William Shuttleworth is a farmer and self-employed independent insurance agent from Indiana. Shuttleworth thinks of himself as having lived the American dream. Like so many millions of other Americans, Shuttleworth believe that he has been blest beyond measure simply by virtue of having the food forutne of being born in the United States of America. He likes to say that he "won life's lottery" the day he was born and also likes to add that he "won life's lottery" again the day he married his wife Linda. Being raised on a farm near a small town in the American midwest in many ways has uniquely equipped people like the Shuttleworth family and an ability to know and understand what the majority of Americas believe and appreciate about this great nation. There is no "blue blood" flowing through these folk's veins. Born to middle class parents, both William and Linda went to work as soon as the low would allow them to do so (age 13) and neither of them have been out of work since.
Early in life Shuttleworth earned his living in construction as a carpenter, concrete mason, roofer, painter, etc. He spent 10 years studying at both Indiana and Purdue University part time where he earned his associate and bachelor degrees while simulteanously being empoloyed full time first in the construction trades and later in the insurance and real estate industries. Shuttleworth served for more than a decade as a bank director on the board of an indepdent community bank in Indiana. Shuttleworth and his wife continue to live on the farm and for thirty years he has earned his lving as a self employed independent insurance agent. William Shuttleworth is a licensed insurance agent, licensed real estate broker and is a Certified Isnurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Finanical Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Like millions of other Americans, Shuttleworth has been extremely frustrated by what he says has been hijacking and corrupting of our American system of goverment and our American way of life primarily by what he describes as arrogant, greedy and misguided career politicians in Washington, DC.
