The Miracle
Soon I was going to be 50 years old. My life was full of many trials, crises, torments, and my dreams became nightmares. I decided to walk the Camino de Santiago because I came to the conclusion that my life had to change. My life needed to be renewed and emptied of all the skeletons in my closet. There was in me an immense desire to find full peace, eternal serenity, and fullness of joy. I started walking without any expectation, assuming nothing, seeking nothing, and without aim. I knew that in some miraculous way my life would change, and it did. I succeeded in walking by myself alone, and alone I achieved the best of all – I become my own best friend. For hours, days, months I walked with my "I" and listened, loved, and searched within myself to find the best of me. I listened to my heart and discovered my true desires. I realized that life is full of mysteries and that I myself am one of them. I connected with the earth beneath my feet. I felt the sky hugging me. The people that I encountered on the way were real angels.
Now I can see with the eyes of the soul. I can be serene, calm and experience beauty. The peace that I now have cannot be explained, but I know that I own it, that I live it, that I taste it. The joy I have attained will never wear out. It just keeps bouncing like a spring time forever. The Camino de Santiago was not the miracle. The miracle was created in each breath of God I took; the miracle happened in each step I took; the miracle was born in every flower I admired; the miracle of the Camino now dwells within me.

About the Book
We all are looking for a moment of total transformation and change. Walking the Way of St. James of Compostela has provided exactly that for many people throughout the centuries. The book describes the transformation I experienced every day for forty days, through poetry and self-examination. I believe we are all born with a strong desire to evolve and to passionately find ways to grow and walk where few others have dared to walk. From an early age, I wanted to experience a significant transformation in my life. I ardently searched for something new, a sign of a new birth. Walking the Way of St. James of Compostela was just that.
About the Author
Job J Cobos was born in Mexico as the eighth child of 16 children. Ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and has been a pastor for over 30 years. Pastor Cobos graduated with a Master of Arts from Florida Beacon Bible College. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Phillips Theological Seminary. He has helped to establish more than 20 congregations in Florida, Kentucky, Arizona and Mexico. He has focused his ministry intensively among the immigrant community in the United States. He was the Regional Hispanic Pastor of the Christian Church in Arizona for 10 years and he is currently Pastor of Templo Cristiano Central and Larkspur Christian Church.
