As a natural father hopefully remembers
his children, how much greater and more significant is the
Heavenly Father to remember us. This happened to me
personally in August of 2017. I was in a very dry season in
ministry and life. I felt like I was done with ministry altogether
and literally screamed at God. I was tired and done. The
proverbial saying of “stick a fork in him, he’s done” would have
been appropriate for my heart and mind. Vividly I remember
on the morning of August 22, 2017, waking up physically tired
from lack of sleep the night before. I went through my normal
day and at 6:01 pm, I received this text from one of my best
friends, Pastor Johnathan Key:
Also!! I received a word for you early this morning and forgot to tell
you… it was a reminder that God’s heart for you hasn’t changed.”
Could it be that you are reading this right now because the
Lord has perfectly set up this Kairos moment so that he could
remind you that he is fighting for you? This one chapter could
be a reminder to you that God sees you, hears you and is
answering your heart’s desire. That just like me, his heart
hasn’t changed for you. Let me prophetically speak to your
heart and mind: GOD IS THE REMEMBERING GOD

About the Book
Jesus Focused Life is a book about living the life Jesus intended for us. It contains spiritual principles and practical leadership ideas on wisdom and growth for the readers to live out. This book is about life—a life that is focused on Jesus and his mission. It is a collection of journals and stories of life lessons I've learned in my time with full-time ministry. About the Author
Pastor Corey Gibson has been involved in full-time ministry for the past 14+ years. He is an ordained Pastor and has a passion for ministering to young people. He has been preaching & leading since the age of 8 years old, as a young volunteer servant leader at Victory World Church (Atlanta, GA). Growing up as a Pastor’s Kid, he knew that ministry would be a part of his DNA. Currently, Corey is the Executive Pastor at Transformation Life Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee as well as an itinerate speaker who travels preaching the gospel of Jesus through his 501(c)3 nonprofit, Corey Gibson Ministries. Alongside leading and ministering at his home church full-time, he also speaks at various conferences, camps, school assemblies and other events as time permits. He has spoken to thousands of young people in his 14+ years of ministry with the message of the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is dedicated to igniting citywide revivals wherever and whenever he travels to preach the Gospel. He considers it an honor to be used by God as a carrier of the Gospel and watchmen on the walls.
His burning desires is that this generation would respond to the Cross and embrace (encounter/experience) Grace, which is the personification, revelation and embodiment of Jesus! His dream is to build and passionately lead in the local church while investing and developing leaders, both students and adults, empowering them to do the ministry of the church. His vision and mission are simple: To see generations of people, young and old, have a life-changing encounter with God, which causes a revolutionary movement of changed lives for the cause of Christ!
