No Evidence!
Look at God! While returning from our third annual prayer conference in St. Louis, I had a bout with vertigo, which I had been experiencing for about two years along with some issues of high blood pressure. My hearing appeared affected by the return flight home. I actually felt that I had a hearing loss. I went to the Otolaryngologist (eye, ear and nose doctor, ENT) for a hearing check and when they compared the results with the previous test a year prior there was a significant difference with the hearing in my left ear. They sent me to have a computerized tomography (CT) ear and a CT brain scan. The results of both tests were normal, however the radiologist recommended that I have a magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) because he felt the blood flow through my brain was abnormal and also recommended that I see a vascular neurologist.
Test results that I received from the MRA indicated there were three aneurysms on the Internal Carotid Artery in my brain and a diagnostic angiogram was recommended. That may be what the report said, however, I am recording the end of the matter as I watch God and the Lord has said do not worry about your health. Not only that, but I know and trust in His word that says by the stripes of Jesus you are and I am healed. You see, man knows what he believes and while science can be good and factual, I know Jehovah Rapha, the Healer, my Healer and He has already spoken. His word that He sends out does not return to Him void, but it accomplishes all that He sets it out to do (Isaiah 55:11)! He is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent (Numbers 23:19).
Jesus took all of my afflictions, He even took the many stripes for my healing. The word of God says that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers us from them all (Psalm 34:19). My deliverance is at hand.
I know Jesus as my Healer, I do not know how He will choose for His report to come to pass, I remain confident, I am healed. I am trusting in Him, not man!
Praise Break: I have got to stop right here and give God praise. I had never heard of anyone having an aneurysm that had not ruptured or caused a stroke, and to hear the report of three, I bless God for keeping me. In my spirit, I said, “God You are funny, one for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Ghost.” These did not have to be revealed in this manner, but for God! I just want to say, “Ain’t God good? Oh, yes He is, bless your name sweet Jesus!”
While waiting for my deliverance, I used my imagination for good. I remembered a situation where God delivered me last summer. It was the last day of Vacation Bible School and I was driving to the church. There was a car in front of me driving very slowly and I could not wait to get around him. Once I did, I speeded up and noticed that all the cars in front of me where hitting their brakes. Shortly there afterwards, I saw why. There were several policemen at the next corner pulling over speeding cars and I was one of them. A speeding ticket was issued to me and I decided to go to court, not to contest the ticket, but believing for mercy that no points would be applied to my driver’s license.
There’s two verses in Psalm 37:32-33 that kept me: The wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death; 33 but the LORD will not leave them in the power of the wicked or let them be condemned when brought to trial. NIV
So, I was believing God for favor in court. I was there sitting and waiting for my name to be called to go and stand before the judge hoping that the officer who pulled me over would not show up, and everything would be dismissed however, he was there. It was what happened next that blew me away. When my name was called the same officer who issued me the ticket said, “No evidence.” Next I am standing before the judge and he says, “No evidence, I find you not guilty.” Not only are there no points applied to my license, but the entire matter is settled without a fine and dismissed. Looking back, all I needed to do was to trust God. He is so good; He gave me grace and mercy, then, He delivered me!
Reflecting back and applying that victory to the situation at hand, I have asked God to continue helping me use my imagination for good. As it relates to the three aneurysms, I saw myself at the hospital for the diagnostic angiogram and the doctor finding no evidence of any aneurysms. I knew what the report said, and I knew what the doctor believed he saw on the MRA. I instead trusted my Healer and believed for His best. You see He is able to do the things that are impossible for man (Matthew 19:26), and I already had His report. By His stripes, I am healed (Isaiah 53:5) and all things are possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23).
