Just like any other non-fiction book that has an introduction, which helps the reader to understand the basic premise of the book, I must give you an understanding of the underlying principles of my book. I clearly understand that there may be people that will turn this section completely away because of their beliefs. If you are one of those people, please continue reading, even if you use this part only as a comparison to what you believe. Everything after this chapter will just be a story to you unless you have the proper foundation put in place first. Some of the things I mention in later chapters will be difficult to understand, especially if you try to make corrections in your marriage and cannot figure out why my system is not working for you. It can work only if the correct Biblical foundation is in place.
First, we need a standard to determine truth. Jesus prayed to His Father, “Thy Word is Truth.” The recording of the Word of God is most accurate in The King James Bible, and proven thoroughly and repeatedly true, and that makes all other bibles unreliable.
The knowledge of how you can get saved is the most important part of Truth. Salvation can come only to those who believe in Jesus as their Savior by trusting the promises in His Word. The Bible explains Salvation very simplified to those who allow the Holy Spirit to work in them upon first belief. You cannot receive further knowledge of His truth until you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Then you will have the foundation necessary to receive more truth. Therefore, the critical question for you is; "Are you saved"? Have you ever accepted Jesus as God's free, gift to secure your eternal life?
The good news for you now is that I am going to give you the simple instructions on how to receive Christ as your Savior.
