With two accomplished winners from previous contests, Marcia Moston and Amy Sorrells, this year’s finalists are poised for a publishing prize

BLOOMINGTON, IND. – Feb. 14, 2013 – WestBow Press, the strategic self-publishing division of the world’s largest Christian publisher, Thomas Nelson, Inc., announced the 30 finalists for the third annual Women of Faith™ writing contest. The Grand Prize winner will receive a self-publishing package from WestBow Press and special consideration from Thomas Nelson.

Excitement about the contest grows every year, given the success of previous winners. Last year’s Grand Prize went to Amy Sorrells, and her manuscript, “Comfort and Salvation,” was later selected for acquisition from traditional publisher David C. Cook. 2011’s Grand Prize winner, Marcia Moston, was later picked up for a major publishing and distribution deal through Thomas Nelson for her book “Call of a Coward.”

This year, WestBow Press received 456 entries.
