This is the story of a journey I have recently taken. However, in order to understand the complete impact of this journey, I first need to tell you a little bit about myself. I am currently in my sixties, still working, and, as most folks, have a bit of upheaval in my life. But I have always been a bit stubborn and independent, and tended to have the attitude that, no matter what, I could withstand, endure, and fix whatever was wrong – on my own.

This has certainly been a journey. A journey not planned, wanted, nor prepared for. Nonetheless, a journey with a very strong and important lesson – a journey which resulted in some serious self-examination and the resulting personal revelations.
About the Author
Sheila Harry is a college instructor, a widow, a mother and grandmother. She is a member of The Church of the Highlands and was led by God to chronicle her journey through recent trials as well as the accomplishments, set-backs, and strengths encountered on this trip.
