I came home from work one day and prayed to God, something amazing happen. I had to pray more and watch less television. I wanted to talk to God even more. I told God, you anointed me to preach your word so many would get saved, but I wanted more. I prayed more and more until God said “I want you to go home from work for 31 days and live in your Pastor’s study at night. Just work and after work stay in your Pastor’s study at the church, Greater St. John. For 31 days this was what I did. At night I would lay on the floor and begin to seek the face of God. Some would say why on the floor? It was on the floor where God taught me how to pray all night long. I had pain in my body from being on the floor. My body was not used to lying on the floor. As I laid there on the floor, my ribs hurt, my side hurt and my bottom. I obeyed God and I wanted something from him. So, I prayed to God as he had directed me to do, for 31 days. I had one specific prayer as I laid on the floor. I prayed to God for the healing anointing power to come upon me
In his word God said; “You said if there is any sick among you? Let him call for the Elders of the Church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. (James 5:14). When it came upon me, I didn’t know it. There is something amazing about the Holy Ghost.
My next level of concentration was in the old church that only seated 150 people. I was seeking God’s presence and that I love to do very much. I went into concentration for 61 days, without coming out of the church. God spoke to me and said; “if you love me, then Billy you have to seek me. I’m Holy”. You must get in sack cloth and ashes position or a threshing floor position to get in my presence.” I stayed in the church in my Pastor’s study which was very small for 61 days, I could barely turn around in it. I slept on the floor and sought God. Honey and mother Boothe would bring my food. They had to leave it in the dining hall in the church. They would lock the door and leave. I would watch them ride off. My concentration went through Thanksgiving, my wife’s birthday, Christmas and New Year’s. I went through these holidays shut up in the church away from my family. I felt humiliated, very low, you will understand when I explain. Anytime I talk about these 61 days of concentration, tears come to my eyes because I went through.
We had a very powerful Holy Communion service. My mother, who was my Pastor, Prophetess Hilda Mitchell, (who has gone home to be with the Lord) she said God is going to bless me. I remember her laying hands on me, and I went into unknown tongues. I stayed that way most of the service. This happens to me often. When I was able to speak English again, God changed my dialect. God began to speak to me; “I’m going to prove to everyone that my hands are upon you and my powerful anointing. Can you imagine a North Carolinian having a dialect like a Jamaican? When God decides to change it, he does, and it goes from one level to another. What blesses me about my dialect is when I talk to people from another country, that says I sound like them and they like it. There is no way you can fake it. There are people that think my dialect is fake. This happen around the year 1999, when God changed my dialect, I still have it. When people say I’m faking it, I say well I’m a pro because I have been talking this way for about 19 years. I just laugh. God told Abraham and Sarah that they were going to have a child and they past child bearing age. They laughed. Why do God do these things? The Bible says; “Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.” (John 4:48)
So, every time I open my mouth with this dialect, I would have to tell this amazing story. I was born and raised in North Carolina, the good old USA. But God gave me this dialect. The people are blessed and blown away. As God increased his healing anointing in me my dialect increased. I’m just a peculiar fellow that got a powerful anointing at a young age. Selah

When the Holy Ghost reveals powerful things to you, always believe what he is saying. Stop saying something told me to do this and know it’s the Holy Ghost speaking to you.
It will change your life. Don’t be afraid. The Holy Ghost changed the dialect of Bishop Mitchell. God told him he was going to prove to the world that his anointing is upon him. You will read about this in the book. He still speaks with that dialect today. What’s the use of having the Holy Ghost if you’re not going to obey him?
The Holy Spirit lets you know how amazing God’s power can be in your life. Prayer is the key, and faith unlocks the door. So many doors were open in this book through prayer and obeying God. God will explain your past, teach you your present, and reveal to you your future through the Holy Ghost.

About the Author
As a man of God, the Lord has been good to Bishop William A. Mitchell, Jr. At the age of 16 he started preaching. He’s 53 years old now. He’s had a lot of blessed victories walking as a child of God. His own business for 17 years, retired at the age of 33. He traveled the world preaching the word of God in Africa, Europe and Canada. At the age of 32 he sought God for a powerful healing anointing. The Lord led him to do a 31 day shut-in in his study at home. Afterward he held a three week revival where the healing anointing began to manifest itself. Many were healed.
The Lord instructed him again to do a 61-day shut in. He slept on the floor, ate in the church and bathed out of a bucket. As a result of his obedience the healing anointing increased. He refrained from eating in restaurants for 3 years and did not watch television for 10 years.
At the age of 38 God blessed the ministry to build a million-dollar church and pay off the loan in 9 years and 3 days. During the construction of the sanctuary, the Lord told him to consecrate himself again. In 2003, he secluded himself in a 4 month shut-in that lasted 4 months, 123 days and 3 hours.
He holds the highest honor in N.C. the Long Leaf Pine Award, pastored one church for 27 years, founded a worldwide international Conference, Marked For A Miracle, that’s been blessed for 20 years. Holds a Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies, 2018 God called him to be a Bishop.
He achieved all of this by listening to the Holy Spirit and doing what God wanted him to do for his kingdom.
