The Holy Ghost Stories

“God works with us, and not for us.” {Phil 2:12-18 & 2Chron 30:12 & Heb 13:20-21}

A: I was walking the streets of my neighborhood in Boerne Texas; currently there are a grand total of four different streets with about 61 homes, if I remember correctly. All the homes are on one to three acres, with trees, grass, dear, squirrels, rabbits, cats, mosquitoes, and dogs; Noah’s whole menagerie almost anywhere you looked. I was heading north towards highway FM 46, and thinking about when I would be home in heaven, and sitting with God, The Father, and going through my life in His book about my times on the planet earth; my version of Father, son time. Our Father was showing me good and bad decisions that I had made while on Terra-Firma. In my musings I brought up the time {which had never happened in reality} about when I went into H.E.B and witnessed to 10 different individuals, since He had not brought that subject up yet. God, The Father frowned slightly, and asked “Do you really want to bring that one up?” Now the frown most assuredly should have given it away, but in my enthusiasm, I could not resist the urge to brag to my Father about something good that I thought that I had done. The expression ‘leave well enough alone’, has a tendency not to want to come and take up residency at my front door. So of course, I said, “Because LORD, I witnessed to 10 individuals that day!”

The LORD asked me if I remembered being prompted by Himself, via His Spirit to do just that; and to go into H.E.B and tell the very first individual that I saw inside the store about Jesus and Him being crucified for us; namely to save our souls from eternal separation from the everlasting God who is Life, and the only source of it.
