Truth remains truth even when the majority does not accept it; even when the prevailing culture rejects it, or when the entire nation does not subscribe to it. None of these changes the truth. Our job must be to preach and practice what is truth. Truth has been rejected before and will be rejected now, but at the end truth never loses. Deception always suffers defeat.
We must be reminded that the deception we are talking about will be deep and wide. The enemy will try to use the best of pastors, teachers and prophets to lead this onslaught of deception. Remember what is called ‘anointed’ is often well received. These men and women will not be anointed by God’s spirit but surely the devil will be with them; hence their words will sound as though they are making sense. If it is nonsense, clear for all to see then it is not really deception. But deception is tricky. So we must pay attention to their motive; who is their message bringing glory to? If it is not glorifying God and exalting the name of Christ then it is of Satan. Furthermore, we must watch the character, practices and lifestyles of those who are teaching. Above all you must know God for yourself; have great fellowship with Him and He will direct your path. Read the Bible daily and do what it says. Love God above all things and He will give you guidance.

About the Author
Bishop Thomas Eristhee was converted in his teens. He spent many years in the church learning about God and all aspects of ministry and then felt the Spirit of God impressing him to attend Bible School. After a few years of indecision, he heeded God’s call upon his life.
Bishop Eristhee holds a diploma from the West Indies School of Theology, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Caribbean College of the Bible International. He has a Master of Ministry Degree with Trinity Theological Seminary, and obtained his DMin with Covington Seminary, and a PhD in Apologetics with Evangelical Theological Seminary.
Thomas Eristhee has written four other books namely, What To Do After Being Saved; The Church Revealed; Satan Exposed; and What Should We Believe, Creation or Evolution; and Praying and Fasting, The Bible way
He is currently the Bishop for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies, (St. Lucia District). Bishop Eristhee has been married for 30 years to his wife, Midran. They have two children, Shimea and Jeremiah.
