Jesus, The Way, The Truth, The Life
There is a emptiness today
Within the hearts of men.
There's trouble, trial, and heartache,
Despair the only end.
And men are restless as can be,
Changing jobs and other things.
Seeking to be satisfied,
But nothing satisfaction brings.
There is One Who can satisfy
And meet the needs of every heart.
He is the Way, the Truth, the Life.
So trust in Jesus from the start!
For when you trust in Christ alone
To have your every need supplied,
Then you will find that through His love
You'll have a soul that's satisfied.
For Jesus is the only way
He is the only truth, and life,
And if you'll follow in His way
He'll guide you through the pain and strife!
Come to Jesus Christ today.
As He tugs upon your heart.
He'll hear your prayer and meet your needs
And give your life a brand new start!

About the Book
This is a book of poems written over many years and inspired by sermons, friends, family, Bible verses, and circumstances. They review the thoughts from sermons, they teach the lessons from the Bible, and they reach out to those who are hurting and are distressed by things that happen to them. The poems are meant to bring comfort, insight, challenge, blessing, guidance, and information to readers.
About the Author
Paul Madsen at the young age of eighty eight is publishing his first book of poetry. He began writing poetry at the age of ten and has written poems for family, friends, school and church since.
He has a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, A Masters Degree in Supervision and Administration from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC and a Doctor of Education Degree from Nova University in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
He is a retired School Principal residing in Plant City, FL.
