Jake crossed the meadow accompanied by a host of animals and entered the "Garden of Peace." It was the most beautiful place he had ever seen. He wandered through the garden and watched the waterfall and waded in the creek that ran through the garden. Plants were covered with every flower imaginable and the air smelled sweet with their fragrance. Everywhere he looked Jake saw animals talking, smiling, and laughing. He had never experienced such love and contentment.

Jake hated it when his parents argued and yelled at each other. He often sought refuge at his safe place in the woods behind his house. There he meets the kindest, most compassionate, and loving companion – a Golden Labrador Retriever named Joe. Together, they visit an extraordinary garden filled with kindhearted, affectionate, and fun-loving animals. After spending the day with his new friends, Jake experiences the peace and love within the garden.
About the Author
The author was devastated by the untimely loss of her youngest daughter and was overwhelmed with grief. One night, in an inspired dream, she visited an amazing garden filled with the most wonderful, warmhearted, and gentle animals. When she awoke from the dream she was filled with peace and was reminded that she was not alone in her grief. This dream inspired The Garden of Peace. It’s the author’s hope that everyone who reads this book, regardless of their age, will experience peace and the calm assurance that they are never alone.
