Papoose the Kangaroo was a happy kangaroo, who always liked to jump. He could jump high, he could jump low, and he could even jump really fast. Flapping his hands and shaking his head really fast always made him feel better. You see, Papoose was no ordinary Kangaroo, he was made special, Papoose was Autistic. He saw the world in a very colorful way. He loved collecting and lining up toys, he was great at math and he didn’t care to much for loud noises or the smell of some foods especially cheese.

About the Author
Elizabeth Nelson is a first time author and mother of four, two with Autism. She was inspired by her children’s strength in difficulties to write an encouraging book about characters who see the world differently and overcome adversity.
