About the Book

Faith through Your Hardships Draws Others to Christ argues that the apostles’ accomplishment was due to an unshakable faith while undergoing extreme suffering to the point of death. Without the combination of unwavering faith through suffering, the apostles may not have effectively spread Christ’s message throughout the world, and author and Christian counselor Michael Kotch ties in two personal experiences of witnessing people maintain unwavering faith through severe hardships, which built and strengthened his own faith in God.

Accepting and following Jesus as one’s savior is the only way to eternal life, and the first step for anyone to accept Jesus is to hear about him from someone else. The goal of Faith through Your Hardships Draws Other to Christ is to teach Christians that maintaining their strong faith during hardships may bring witnessing nonbelievers to Christ, as well as strengthen the faith of fellow Christians.

About the Author

Michael Kotch is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania, and he has been practicing at an outpatient Christian counseling center since 2006. He has a bachelor of science in administration of justice from Pennsylvania State University, a master of science in psychology from Marywood University, and a master of arts in clinical psychology from Widener University; he earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Widener University in 2003. Michael is also a religious instruction teacher for fifth and sixth grade students at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, and he and his wife, Mary, have been married since 1995; together they have two children, Jacob and Johanna.
