What will be going on down on earth when the Church is taken up?
In my opinion, the following things will be occurring or will have already occurred:
- Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 will have taken place
- There will be chaos beyond our belief
- The Antichrist’s (2 Thessalonians 2:1-9) identity will be known (Daniel 9:27)
- The seven years of tribulation will be starting
- Temple will have been rebuilt (in order to fulfill Revelation 11:1-2)
- The two witnesses (Revelation 11) will be on earth
- The 144,000 (Revelation 7) that are sealed, will witness to the Jews in the Tribulation.
To be clear, the Rapture does not start the Tribulation. The signing of the seven-year covenant with Israel and the Antichrist begins it.

About the Author
Bill Marshall was born in Rome, New York. He was in the Navy from 1964-1968, discharged with a honorable discharge. He was a former teaching tennis pro in the Chicago area. He accepted the Lord in 1979 at the age of 33.
