About the Book

About the Author
Cynthia received her Bachelor’s degree from Hastings College in Hastings, NE in Education/Social Science. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney campus in Counseling. She began her career as an Elementary Guidance Counselor, developing a guidance program for 700 children. She was a Clinical Counselor for 24 years, more than half of that time owning her own practice. Cynthia has been married for 38 years. She and her husband have two adult children who were raised on a farm in rural Nebraska. She has five grandchildren who are the delight of her life. She likes to read to her grandchildren, read for pleasure, take long walks, ride bikes, and go to the lake with friends.
