About the Book
My Child Would Have Been . . . was inspired by the author’s loss of her own son Greyson and was illustrated by Greyson’s brothers, Miles and Case. It was written in an effort to help other parents who have suffered the loss of a child because it is through helping others that we can begin to heal our own broken hearts.
About the Author
Kristi Richards is the mother of Greyson Shelfer, who was her own child "that would have been ..." and the inspiration for this book.
Her sons, Miles and Case, illustrated this book as a way to honor their brother.
Kristi wrote this book in an effort to help others show their sympathy after a loved one experiences the loss of a child.
