You open your bible to the book of John and begin reading, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Those words give such peace to your mind. You close your eyes and then you hear a still small voice whispering So Love! You recognize the voice. It’s the same calming voice that beckoned you to say yes to Jesus. As you listen intently the voice becomes visual. In the focus of your mind’s eye a chest comes into view. The chest is beautiful.
It seems to be made of a substance unidentifiable something not of this world. You sense that its value is immeasurable. As you peer at the chest words seem to be embedded into the very fibers. It’s as though the chest is constructed of the words themselves. It’s beyond your imagination. To your greater amazement the words seem to be alive.

About the Book
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Every Christian knows or is at least familiar with this scripture.

Religion has taught that everlasting life is the life after death, entrance to heaven, and escape from hell. Author Pat Gayle knows that it is those things and so much more. Through her prose and poetry, she considers all the gifts that God has given us—but in particular the great love that caused Him to become a man to take on the punishment humankind deserved, giving us everything we could ever need in this life.
This collection of inspirational prose and poetry celebrates the many gifts God has given to humanity and encourages us to bring focus and attention to our first love, Jesus Christ.

Pat Gayle is a believer who has actively participated in a wide range of Christian experiences for decades. She has awakened to the truth of the Gospel of grace. It’s not about what she can do to please God; it’s about what Jesus has done. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to be used to share in her unique way a view of God’s amazing grace.
