Parker Panda debuts in this story as a lovable, curious, and independent cub, that is ready to test the boundaries he is accustomed to. His mother graciously allows Parker to explore the freedom of preparing any type of sandwich he chooses. As the story unfolds, Parker learns a valuable lesson about the love of his mother.
About the Author
Shannon is the mother of two elementary-school age boys, and has always dreamed of writing children’s books. During a night-time story telling session with one of her children, the story of Parker Panda materialized. Once Parker’s lunch-making antics reached paper, many more adventures featuring this character emerged. Only after a divine meeting with the illustrator took place, the lovable Parker Panda was born, and is now becoming a page in our history. Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, running, and socializing with friends, and lives with her husband and two children in the metro-Detroit area where she was raised.
