About the Book

These are fifty personal letters to Christian pastors and all Holy Bible teachers and fifty prophetic messages from our heavenly Father God. Father God says that if they will preach one sermon a week using one of these prophetic messages for reference for fifty weeks, in one year, their church attendance will double, and their church income will double. It is based on the leaders’ souls’ growth in God. As the leaders’ souls grow in God, their sermons will improve, and people will be fed more of Jesus and more of the Bible. As spiritually hungry people are well-fed, they will return for more and bring their families and friends.

About the Author

Velma Garner Davies’ Mother took her and her four siblings to a little Southern Baptist church in rural Mississippi from birth. Velma became a Christian at an early age and was baptized in a river. At Velma’s age ten their family of seven moved from Mississippi to Washington state, where they continued to attend a Southern Baptist Church. Velma completed high school, completed Junior College with an AA degree, completed Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles with a Certificate of Completion, and completed Peabody College in Nashville with a BFA degree. Velma worked her way through college twice, always with a major in art, as she wanted to illustrate Christian books to win the world to Christ. She worked one year as a Graphic Designer for Gospel Light Publications in Glendale, California. She worked as a Graphic Designer at the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville for four years. Velma and Hugh Davies were in married in 1970. Their daughter was born in 1972 and their son in 1975. Velma began attending the Lord’s Chapel in 1977, continued through the merger with The Oasis Church in 2004. She now attends Mount Bethel UMC in Marietta, GA. Velma became Holy Spirit filled at the Lord’s Chapel, with evidence of speaking in tongues with prophetic messages. At The Lord’s Chapel she published their newspaper monthly for 12 years. From this newspaper, 44 Christian testimonies were published in Velma’s first book, entitled, Victory in Jesus. Velma has published her family newsletter, “The Garner News,” monthly for 25 years. Velma has built up her watercolor and oil painting skills and has had several fine art exhibitions in the Nashville area. Christmas in the Bible Belt is Velma’s second book. Church Growth Our Father God’s Way is Velma’s third book.
