17. Chamber Room Chamber hour in the chamber room A time of revelation A oneness with the Essence The God of our Salvation. Chamber hour, in the chamber room Transcending time, drawing us near The Spirit ignites me with inner light And dispels all pending fear. Chamber hour, in the chamber room Where my spirit rises While the God of heaven Reveals divine surprises. An hour in the chamber In adoration and love Gets the healing ground ready To receive power from the Dove. My secret place of prayer Is my chamber place Where You reveal your will for me And in spirit I see your face. Chamber room Where the heart in childlikeness comes to be United in soul and spirit To the most High, the Trinity. Trinity Power Draws me in peace for prayer Calming the turbulent storms of life Love and joy are also found there. Is your inner life in turmoil? Is your heart numb with pain? Go, run to the secret chamber Where your seeking won't be in vain. Surrender to His great mercy His will and providential care When you enter the chamber room You will find that He has been waiting there.

One present moment with the Eternal Presence brings transformation power that cannot be acquired by our own strength but through His grace. Heaven unleashes all its resources in order for us to live a victorious life and overcome anything that holds our soul captive. We enter the throne room of our Heavenly Father and through the righteousness of Christ we can claim all that the Son won for us on Calvary.
About the Author
KATHLEEN LIZARDI-CALHOUN has discovered the transforming healing love and power that results from spending time in the presence of God through daily prayer and meditation. She has learned to surrender to the interactive experience of the Spirit that dwells within us and who is intimately involved in the details of our daily life. Through peaceful times or turbulent circumstances Kathleen has learned to walk in the presence of God moment by moment while trusting in His providential care. Kathleen is a graduate from the University of California Irvine where she earned a Bachelors degree in the area of Social Ecology. She attended National University where she completed a Master of Science in Education, as well as a teaching and administration credential. Kathleen resides in southern California with her husband, Guy James Calhoun, and both are involved in small group leadership.
