We woke Sunday morning to the sounds of heavy rainfall. Mr. M. made the morning a little bit brighter when he volunteered to make breakfast. It was great! Hash, eggs, and toast seemed to take some of the dampness away. And we washed it down with my coffee. I was still making the first pot of the day, come rain or shine. After breakfast though, came the challenge. I told Trevor that I really did not want to go fishing this morning, and he agreed with ease. That left two options. Stay indoors and watch TV or play games, or go for a drive. We elected to take the drive.Despite the rain, the countryside was picturesque. A good share of our view was of mountains and treed valleys that were interspersed with farms and country homes. There were trailers, and cabins and large and small houses of every color, with the majority of them painted white. Small town America was on display! "

About the Book
Colleen is charmed when she meets Trevor at a singles dance in upstate New York. Although she feels a spark with the guy, Colleen has been through the ringer of relationships, so she’s hesitant to jump into dating again. Soon, though, as things progress, Trevor begins to rock her world in ways she only fantasized about.

Trevor and his family seek her attention, loyalty, and love, and Colleen basks in familial camaraderie. She feels adored yet sometimes overwhelmed by Trevor’s feelings for her, but her feelings are rapidly approaching amazing heights of their own. Before she gets too involved, she must make a decision: will she run with the pack—or run free?
