The Story is becoming a true Legend: The Aerobic House Cleaning Lifestyle has been on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and in media from Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom , Canada, Chicago Superstation WGN, Right This Minute News, ABC / WCPO, the Do It Yourself Channel, Vietnam, Pakistan, and way beyond. It’s really not a book…it’s a ride. 
So, how does a totally regular guy capture so much media attention for his Health & Fitness Lifestyle when there are thousands of others on the market? He still wonders, but has some ideas. 
Maybe it’s this: Stevie Markovich created The Aerobic House Cleaning Lifestyle in 1995 to devote his time and life to his Kids but still stay fit. He has been using this Lifestyle exclusively since 1995 to stay in shape. Yes, exclusively since 1995. 
That’s right, no weights, no gyms, no complicated contraptions, no strict diets nor routines. His workouts include vacuuming, washing the car, raking, shoveling snow, walking, doing dishes, golfing, painting, hunting, and even using furniture, home repair and gardening tools as exercise equipment. The Aerobic House Cleaning Lifestyle is Real. It is sooo simple. He lives it every day. 
Oh, and Stevie was born in 1954. His fitness level proves something is working. 
Think: While nearly every other health and fitness book or video focuses on performance and the exercises, Stevie focuses first on helping the reader embrace an honest to goodness change of heart towards all types of physical activities that can be found in everyday life. And he uses a good deal of Biblical Scripture to help people develop this true change of heart that he sincerely believes is a must to become healthier. Scripture is key, he says. But it’s lighthearted with some tough love, too. 
He also talks in detail about forgiveness. Why? Because we are all human and we will all fall off the fitness Lifestyle every so often. Stevie gives personal accounts of how, after time, he gives in to some of his favorite foods and how “not pretty” are the leftovers the next day. ..self-effacing if you will. 
Another “conversation” he has is about eating right and staying away from junk foods. But he does not have strict diets. “Diets suck,” Stevie says. “Life is to be lived and enjoyed with balance, but along with the occasional extreme good times. 
By the way, the book does not have chapters, it has “Conversations” as he calls them. Stevie wants the reader to feel as though he or she is hanging out with their best friend and just chatting away, laughing out loud and dreaming big dreams. “Want to have a cocktail while reading the book, Stevie writes? Go ahead, I had a couple writing it,” he Laughs. 
Stevie also refused to have the book proofread to the nth degree. He thought that would have watered down the “messages” he was trying to relate to the readers. So not if -- but when -- you find two main clauses not joined by a coordinating conjunction and there is no semicolon, or words misspelled, “Cool,” he says. 
The book even has some POP quizzes because Stevie wants to be sure you are paying attention to the content. The core of the exercises and the execution of them is unutterably simple, but it’s the IDEAS that need to be understood and grasped. Learning all the chess moves can take a half hour, but to grasp the WHY can take eternity, or just a second. 
He also goes into his background pretty extensively so the reader gets to know him and understand where he is coming from. From his days as a copywriter, mischief-maker, Dad, construction worker, database advertising salesperson, and even a baggage guy for a major airline. Currently he works for one of the largest software and hardware solutions providers in the world as an IT Project Manager. 
Stevie lists some of his favorite movies and books because of the passion he says they portray. And Aerobic House Cleaning is big on passion. Passion and Attitude are key themes in the book. 
Now on another note, somehow The Aerobic House Cleaning Lifestyle wraps together exercises, sweating, breathing, maximum heart rate, burning fat vs burning carbs, Guardian Angels, Scripture, Near Death Experiences, attitude, and even statistics from Centers for Disease Control. And it works. Go figure. 
Considering there are over 200,000,000 overweight Americans, it might be a good idea for them to buy this book. The insight and information they will enjoy could last for generations. 
Stevie Markovich won the President’s Physical Fitness award in 1969 and 1970. He has a black belt in Karate, and studied a blend of mixed martial arts at one of the finest martial arts academies in the world: The Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts in Chicago. Stevie says while at the Degerberg Academy he was blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from world class athletes and world champion fighters. 
He hopes the ideas in the book help the readers become healthier, and even give them ideas of their own. Just get from point A to point Healthier is what he would like. 
He’d like to become a product spokesperson for any type of home care or home improvement product. Or even do a short reality show to help the overweight who can’t get to a gym nor afford it. But like he says “If any of this happens it’s all God’s will.”
