Knowing God is one of the most important growth points to nurture in our child’s heart. It is the only eternal gift we can give them. All else on this earth will pass away. Earth is not our home, eternity is. Making the intentional choice to live and rear our children in this paradigm is our only choice. It is our best choice! If we don’t live here in our parenting, sadly, there is a time when our influence becomes dimmer as the years pass by, making it more difficult for our children to come to the Truth. I believe fully in developing a healthy parent-child relationship using God’s spiritual connection through His word, giving Him praise, and communicating with Him in prayer. You see, once we can establish this foundation, our children can grow deep in Jesus and wide in influence. These three will strengthen their walk with God while they live amidst the evil in this world. Confidence in the power of their God and in the love of their family will help them persevere while they fight the war of this sinful society.

About the Book
What makes some children love God with all their heart and others reject Him? What can a parent do to fight against this evil culture that wants to rob, steal, and kill their children’s relationship with Christ?
As most of us know, the enemy uses many tools to influence our children so they will rebel and reject the Lord. Being young, curious, and easily deceived, they make great targets for the evil one.
This book prepares parents to fill the kind of roles in their children’s lives that are needed in order for their children to develop a close relationship with them and with Christ. Parents can learn how to help their children be proactive in their faith with Christ and lead themselves and others with God’s love and power in an evil culture, and not be led by it.
Parents can find hope, practical help, and motivation to move forward. With God, parents can scale a wall and advance against a troop; no matter the difficulties they face, they can do all things through Christ who gives them great strength and weighty influence to lead their children.
About the Author
Marcie Cramsey has a zeal for helping parents surrender their lives to God and out of that relationship raise up devoted followers of Christ through their children. She currently holds the position as children’s minister at Fairview at River Club and has been in ministry to families and children for over twenty-five years, including creating a discipleship ministry for children, conducting family counseling, and coaching leaders for ministry. She and her husband of more than twenty-six years have three sons, one daughter, and one son-in-law. They reside in the beautiful small town of Culpeper, Virginia.
