When the last council member walked out the large pearl doors, the king shouted, “Get up demon and step forward!”
The demon slowly got up on his feet and staggered toward the king.
“Now, what is this message X-Ceius has for me?”
The demon swayed back and forth as he spoke. “First of all, he wants you to know he’s proud of your . . . oops. I mean he’s proud of his son – Zulif!”
The demon licked the drool from his chin then continued. “Secondly, X-Ceius wants you to know how happy he is spreading gloom and despair upon the earth. Matter of fact, my master said Earth is like a second home to him – so he’s decided to stay.”
Anger shot through the High Commander. “So, X-Ceius is not going to keep his promise to return my son and leave Earth?!”
The demon started to shake almost falling over. “Uh . . . Uh . . . X-Ceius told me you would ask that question, and his answer is – what promise?”
The High Commander lunged and grabbed the demon by the throat, lifting him high above the palace floor. Squeezing tighter, the mighty king shouted, “You tell your master, I’m sending the angelic soldiers to bring back my son and free the people of Earth from his lies. You also tell X-Ceius, once the people are freed, I, the High Commander, will hunt him down and throw him into the room of purification where he will surely die!”
The High Commander released his grip and the demon fell to the floor gasping for air.
“Guard! Guard!” the High Commander shouted.
The palace guard ran into the throne room and bowed. “Yes, my king.”
“Take this demon out of Plantavia’s atmosphere, remove the gold lightning bolt and set him free.”
“Yes, Sire.” Without delay, the guard grabbed the demon and threw him out of the throne room.

Zulif and a host of demons have been in control of Earth for the last 2000 years, poisoning the minds and lives of the people, leaving them hopeless, doubtful and in despair. Zulif’s master, X-Ceius, knows that if these demons can continue to keep the people, especially the children, away from their hopes and dreams, a planet named Rotundra, which is attracted to the darkness, will collide with Earth—destroying all who live there. Fortunately, the High Commander, king of Plantavia, is now free to send the angelic soldiers to Earth. Their mission— help the children find their way back to their hopes, dreams and destiny. If the angelic soldiers are successful and destroy X-Ceius’ evil plans, the Earth will change course and all will be saved from destruction. The future of Earth lies in the hands of the children—they’re Earth’s only hope.
About the Author
In 2006, DJ Brannon, found her way back to her dreams and desires that the Lord, Jesus, had placed upon her heart. With the help of the Lord, she was able to overcome her own fears and self doubt, so she could complete and publish this book. DJ and her husband, John, reside in Frisco, Texas, along with their three, four-legged children, Penelope, Louie, and Noah.
