About the Author

Jared Ball was born on March 24th 1998 in Wilmington, North Carolina to Larry and Sheila Ball. Jared grew up as the middle of three brothers and thanks to Mom and Dad, all three boys were raised as bookworms. Jared’s older brother, Luke, began writing poems and stories as a child to share with the family. As so often happens with younger brothers, Jared took notice of what Luke was doing and wrote his own version. While an original story was still a ways away, the writing bug had taken its first bite. Several years of dedicated reading later, Jared wrote his first original book along with his best friend, Jonathan. Discussing plotlines over the phone, they crafted together a children’s book “trilogy”. All three books combined were at most 150 pages, hardly enough to be considered one book! Yet it was just enough to give Jared a sense of accomplishment, and a burning hunger for more. Fast-forward to college. Jared is sitting at a table on the bottom floor of his dorm. He listens to the sound of clothes tumbling in the dryers as he tries to take in the first day of college. He opens up his laptop and eventually finds himself reading over a book he had started some time before. “Why did I ever stop?” he asked himself. He didn’t have a good answer. It was at this moment Jared made up his mind to become a published author and a lifetime writer. Much has happened since that day, and many works written. There will be much more.
