The impact of the entrepreneur is transcultural; business funds influence grows economies,
and develops communities. Most importantly, Kingdom entrepreneurs fund the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
What is Kingdom entrepreneurship? It is the management, up until and after, the manifestation
of an idea that becomes profitable and produces wealth.
Entrepreneurship is a spiritual journey that requires a firm and definite decision, in Luke 9:62
Jesus teaches us to stay firm in our decision making by saying, "Suppose you start to plow and
then look back. If you do, you are not fit for service in God's kingdom."
It was never God’s intention for an individual to not thrive in their area of gifting. Instead, God’s desire is for us to subdue, influence, and excel.
During the process of writing this book I was able to identify two distinct personality traits of the entrepreneur - the chaser and the runner. The life of an
effective entrepreneur (one who is faithful which builds a profitable business) has its turns, potholes
and abrupt stops (a chaser will use those events as inspiration, while a runner will oftentimes, allow those events to drive the choice of abandoning and starting over.) “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8
The foundation of the book is from 2 Kings 4:1-7, I’ve heard the story preached several
times-each renditions offering similar insight, but it is an appropriate scripture for this book
because the Bible declares that God is the same today, yesterday and forever. This excerpt
provides a great example of entrepreneurship for generations to come. Another reason I admire
this particular passage is because I come from a single-parent (mother) household and can
testify that “I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken and their children begging bread.” My mother
was an entrepreneur and lunch lady who came to América from Panamá raising her two
children alone (after my parents divorced).
While reading this book, discuss the concepts amongst friends and colleagues, reevaluate your paradigm, confront your approach, and recharge your efforts. As a Millennial Kingdom Entrepreneur, you are graced with a gift designed to influence culture and lift Jesus high.

Odell Palacio is a husband, father, youth pastor and businessman that studies and teaches principles from the Kingdom of God.
