Claude continued to cry as he told him that it was because he had missed his healing. Joel’s face was full of question, so Claude began to tell him about Jesus. Claude had heard all the people tell of the stories about this great man, and as he had heard the ones about healing, he had hoped that Jesus would heal him. As Jesus had traveled, Claude had followed in hopes of catching up with him. He wanted to be healed and receive a corrected body. However, Claude was too crippled and too slow to ever catch the Master. He went on to explain his grief, that when he did find the Healer, the Savior, the Deliverer, he found he’d been crucified.
