Pondering It was an ordinary place on an ordinary day. There was nothing special or out of the way. The normal routine that usually ruled my life, was well in place as I sat and pondered why. Why was I stuck in the same old routine? I had never been timid or afraid of new things. I wondered to myself if the Lord knew my place; and quickly ashamed, I bowed my head to pray. I prayed for direction so my eyes could see the path I should walk and become as He wanted me. My faith was weakened and I knew I was wrong, I had been struggling against His will for far too long. Long days and nights would surely lie ahead, as I slowly gained insight to the vast love He had. One day He reached down and touched my soul, and a different point of view was suddenly bestowed. He gave me a gift to arrange and write words. The main purpose of course is to let Him be heard. It is my pleasure to share all these things. I want to let the world know, He is my King! 2Chron.30:8 A.D. Knox

About the Author
April Knox is a truck driver by occupation. To pass the time on the road, she listens to radio shows that teach her about Jesus. In 2008, while questioning the depth of her faith, the Lord opened a door to writing poetry. She and her husband live in a peaceful rural community.
