Although God is Creator and we are His created, He stills gives us the choice with how we will choose to live. He will never obligate us to choose Him. He longs for us to choose His ways, but because He is a loving, merciful God, full of grace, He lets us choose our own way, hoping we will choose the only way of a truly fulfilled life which comes by the way of Jesus. His ways are awesome! His ways are much more rewarding than the ways of the world. The worldly way offers needless pain, suffering, confusion, temporary happiness; Jesus offers us peace, joy, purpose, fulfillment in every area of our life. We can fully rest in Him, with Him and for Him.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give your rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
So let’s believe what He says and step out in faith and leave all the consequences to Him alone. Let us not waste any more time living in fear of the unexpected or of the unknown. We have a God who loves us. We can only love Him because He first loved us. I John 4:19.
So once again…When He says time and time again that “He will never leave us nor forsake us”, He means wholeheartedly what He says! This is comforting to know!
You and I are created by an AWESOME-LOVING God, who only wants to bless and show us how good He is. It does not matter today if we do not know the future, He does! Fear of the unknown? He is in total control! Fear of the economy status? He owns everything! Fear of who you will marry? He has chosen the perfect mate just for you. Fear of failure? All things work together for good. He promises you He will never give you more than you can handle. Fear of parenting? He is the perfect father example of what love and discipline are. Fear of not knowing what choice to make? He will direct you with His eye. For you are the “apple of His eye”; Zechariah 2:8
(This just makes me smile real big and say; Thank you Abba Father!)
Again I say clearly, I understand why the non-believer, non-Christians fear; for they have no hope, no purpose, no direction, no future. I would fear as well! But there is no reason why the Christian should fear. The more we read His Holy Word, abide in Him and ask Him to remove our unbelief and fear, the more we will see and experience life at its very best; God’s best for you with the sole purpose of glorifying Him alone and sharing this Good News with others.

Fear Nothing and Live the Extraordinary is intended to help you see your privilege and responsibility as a Christian, to live up to your calling, and fulfill God’s extraordinary plan for your life.
“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
We have been given the privilege to have part in the great commission to go, share the gospel, and make disciples! We ask the Lord time and time again to use us and transform us, but when He opens the door of opportunity to step out and grow our faith, many shy away, become fearful and ignore His call to live out His extraordinary plan and purpose for their life.
It clearly states in Scripture, “Without faith it is impossible to please God”. In other words without stepping out of our ‘fear zone’, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God, let alone fulfill our purpose as a Christian in a world that so desperately needs to know the love of God.
To fulfill our God-given purpose, we must discover the awesome truths of confidence, strength, wisdom and great love the Bible teaches us, so we can say with boldness,
“HERE AM I LORD, SEND ME!”
About the Author
Marias says, “I see too much fear in the lives of many Christians and truly this is not God’s will for His children.
My desire and purpose to write this book is to help free Christians from the fear that paralyzes them from doing the will of God and enjoying the Christian walk. The Christian’s walk should be a life of peace, adventure and awareness that we are walking with the One and Only True God! “All things are possible through Him.”
As we meditate upon Scripture and learn to apply its awesome truth, then and only then will we be free from the fears that enslave us and have the confidence, boldness and love to fulfill our God-given purpose and glorify our Abba-Father.
“Since receiving Christ as Personal Savior He has taken all fear away. At times I may get anxious, but when I learn to continually depend on Him and walk in His ways I truly experience the promise of ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’” Philippians 4:13
Maria Lopez loves the Lord and He is her all in all. She lives in Wisconsin and has had the blessing and privilege to be called to speak and teach the Word of God along with her husband Joel. She is the co-founder of Extraordinary Life Ministry, a ministry that helps strengthens marriages and families by applying the principles set forth in Scripture.
Besides her joy of writing, Maria is also a personal fitness trainer and desires that all Christians not only be spiritually healthy, but physically healthy as well. She currently has a health and fitness show airing on a Christian television network teaching on the importance of the biblical connection between the mind-body-spirit. She says, “To achieve optimum health you need to train and nurture each of these aspects.”
Since her conviction to surrender her life to the Lord and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she had been asked time and time again to speak at different events to help strengthen the walk of many Christians young and old alike. She has even had opportunities to speak to non-Christian groups. She believes there are no boundaries when we whole-heartedly dedicate our lives to serving the Lord.
The Lord continues to call her to go throughout WI and other states to minister and encourage others, through sharing the principals set forth in Scripture and helping others apply these in the strength and wisdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Maria has been tested in many different ways and has discovered and continues to discover, “All things work together for good, to those that LOVE the LORD and are called according to HIS purpose.”
In order to witness and help others she states, “We must let God; our loving Father, prune us in order to really understand what matters and what matters most is a life that brings glory to Him alone.”
