A Daily Devotional for Daughters of The King

Daughter of the King... You Are Forgiven Are there days when you feel when you find feel like a failure, doubt your salvation, or still struggling wondering if God has truly forgiven you of your sins? Your struggle is real because the enemy wants you to be fearful and doubtful of your salvation. He wants you to see yourself as a failure not worthy of forgiveness. Remember Jesus’ death on the cross paid the penalty of your sins once and for all. If you are still struggling with a lingering sin, remember. 1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. When I think of this verse I liken it to the Christian’s bar of soap, which means we have to use it daily. Not only will God forgive us and cleanse us of our sins, but Psalm 103 says that God will cast our sins as far as the East is from the West because that is how far God will remove our sins from us. Just as the East and West never meet, God will never remind you of your sins. So trust God at His Word, and receive His forgiving grace that He offers so freely! Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for forgiving me of my sins as I confess them to you. Thank You for never reminding me of my sins and for removing them as far as the East is from the West. I receive your forgiveness today and I trust you always! Amen!
