Luke 2:7 “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger…” Hebrews 12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith: who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
When we see the wooden manager we see the birth of the Savior of the world. It was the beginning of the Way of Salvation. Another display of God’s great love for mankind. Then when we see the wooden cross we see the death of the Savior of the world. His death on that cross was to pay the sin debt of mankind. That was accomplished through the shedding of His blood. In the years in between He went about revealing His God and our God. He taught the truths of His Father and our Father. This collection of writings come from some of those truths He has taught me. My prayer is that as you read these He will reveal Himself to you in a fresh new way. May He be glorified in all these words!!!

About the Author
Laura Russell Simpson is in reality the ghostwriter for the one who gave her this collection of writings, namely Almighty God. She is one whose life has been dramatically changed by the power of almighty God. At sixty-six years of age, Laura Russell Simpson was healed of a stroke she had suffered in 2014, delivered from bipolar disorder, now not diabetic, and waiting patiently and expectantly on healing of foot problems. After years of struggles through pits and prisons, like Joseph, the patriarch, God has now brought her out to an abundant life of victory and joy, no matter the circumstances. Her heart’s desire is to serve the God she loves first by answering His call to share His great love for all, to share the way of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, and to share the power of His Word, which she highly esteems. She has shared forty-six years with her husband, Bill, thirty-nine years with her daughter, Lauran, and twenty-one years with her grandson, Josh. She resides in her hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She considers herself to be greatly blessed in many, many ways by the God and Savior she loves and lovingly serves.
