Chapter 1
Jesus’s Existence before Conception
Prophecies
Before anything at all was started, God existed. All of the intent of His heart coexisted with God and indeed, was God. The intent of His heart fully and accurately reflected all of who God was, and is and is to come. The intent of His heart existed with God before anything else was created. Everything was created as God spoke the intent of His heart, and if something was not in God’s intent of His heart, it was not created with everything else God created. Within God’s intent of His heart life existed, and this life was in reality divine and what made it possible to see. The earth, its people, and everything upon the earth were created through the intent of His heart and what made it possible to see.
A wise man named Agur said, and it was recorded approximately eight hundred years before Jesus was born:
“Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and what is His Son’s name,
If you know?”
The answer to these questions can only be known by divine revelation and existed before anything at all was started. This answer was kept out of sight, inside of God, taught the apostle Paul to the Ephesians. He continued by explaining that God made everything by way of “Jesus Christ” !
The prophet Micah spoke more than seven hundred years before Jesus Christ was born about the Messiah to come:
“Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
Jesus Christ exactly reflects God, who is Spirit and not seen in the natural realm. Jesus was initially born before anything at all was started. This was so that through Jesus everything in the natural realm was brought into being. Everything includes what is in the sky when we look up above the earth. Everything also includes each atom in this global sphere where we live, what is seen and not seen. Every created thing includes the seats on which rulers sit and areas over which the rulers govern. Also included are nations that the sovereign God Himself has set apart to govern themselves. Jurisdictions where princes govern and places where particular authorities have control are also included. Everything was brought into existence by God’s Son with the intent for God to give everything to His Son. Jesus is the one who was born first, and God placed Him in the very front of everything else. Inside Jesus, God’s Word, everything was composed. This all was developed on the inside of the Lord Jesus Christ before the very first day and night occurred.
“You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands,” recited the author of the epistle to the Hebrews from the book of Psalms. Also recorded in the Psalms, and cited by the apostle Peter, David wrote the following words about the One God raised from the dead:
“I foresaw the LORD always before my face,
For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.”
David was on the earth, not in the heavenly realm, when he prophesied those words. David later said:
“The LORD said to my Lord,
‘Sit at My right hand.’”
“David calls Him ‘Lord’; how is He then his Son?” “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” “O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”
The wise man named Agur, who asked the questions about God and His Son, also asked,
“Who has ascended into heaven, or descended?”
Jesus, hundreds of years later, answered that question: “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.” Jesus later described Himself by saying, “For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
Announcement
God sent an angel named Gabriel to Nazareth, a city in Galilee, to a young woman who had never been intimate with a man. This young woman, a virgin named Mary, was promised in marriage to Joseph, whose ancestor was King David. The angel entered where Mary was and spoke to her. “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” When Mary saw the angel, and heard what he said, she was disturbed. Mary thought about what he said and wondered what kind of way this is to greet a stranger.
The angel Gabriel followed by saying, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.” Mary replied to Gabriel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
“Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit
Have sent Me.”
