Take some time now to float and swim in the waters of life. You can dive down deep where the sandy bottom is sparkling white, then push back up, gliding through the soothing waters, resurfacing in the fresh rarefied atmosphere. Breath in the life giving oxygen and feel your lungs fill with the fullness of Jesus' life. Then diving back down, your body is immersed in the fullness of the living water, vitalising and renewing you with the living presence of the Lord Jesus.
Imagine floating effortlessly on his words "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" (John 8:12 NIV) – His light which gives life (John 8:12 CJB).
Jesus words anoint you with such peace and the more peaceful you become, the more you feel filled with His life, for a heart at peace gives life to the body (Prov 14:30 NIV).
Saturated in Jesus peace and His light of life (John 8:12), look over to the bank and see Jesus watching you, His body of light with love pouring out of his eyes, beholding you with the fullness of His beautiful face.
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in your heart to give you the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Cor 4:6 NIV).
In your mind, would you affirm with Jesus; “Shine your light in my heart and give me the light of the knowledge of your glory.”
Let there be light (Gen 1:3 NIV) He said in Genesis. Let there be light in you through Jesus Christ! Let His light shine in your heart and give you the light of the knowledge of His glory.
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you," He said, "ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." (John 15:7 NIV)
Ask Jesus to shine His light in your heart and your mind, your soul and your spirit. “Pierce me with Your light Jesus, saturate me with Your word, Your life, Your health, Your wisdom, Your beauty and Your grace.” “Shine Your light to guide my feet into the path of peace” ( Luke 1:78-79 NIV).
Let Jesus saturate you with His living presence and you will have peace with God through your Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 5:1 NIV).
Immersed in and filled with Jesus and His light, swim back now to the edge of the embankment and join Him on the verdant verge. Instantly you are dry and clothed. There on the bank are you exquisite shoes. Slip your feet back into them and know you can carry the spirit of peace back with you when you return to your day to day activities, for how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:15 NIV)
Yes, How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings (Isaiah 52:7 NIV).
From now on in all your day to day activities, anytime you feel anxious, unsettled or ill at ease, this will be an automatic signal to your inner mind causing you to instantly travel in your mind to Jesus leading you beside the still waters (Psalm 23), His light guiding your feet into the path of peace” ( Luke 1:78-79 NIV). And you will see Jesus beautiful face; his eyes burning with love for you as you remember his words: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27 NKJV)
Each day having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph 6:15 NKJV), with each step, you can walk deeper into His peace as you live in Him and He lives in you (1 John 4:13 NIV), He himself, your peace (Eph 2:14 NIV).
