June 5 and December 5
Since the firstfruit, Jesus, is holy, the Church is also holy; and if the root, Jesus, is holy, so are the branches, the followers.
Romans 5
Therefore, since I have been made righteous by the faithfulness of Jesus, I have peace with God through my LORD Jesus the Messiah. It is through the faithfulness of Jesus that I have gained access into this grace in which I now stand. This grace is my new position in Christ. I stand in His grace because I am righteous, and I have peace with God. Because of hope, I boast about God’s glory. I also endure my suffering because I know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Hope does not bring shame to me because God’s love has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit who has been given to me.
At just the right time, when I was still powerless, Jesus Christ died for me an unGodly person. It seldom happens that someone would die for a righteous person, but God demonstrated His love for me when Jesus died for me even when I was still a sinner.
Since I have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus, I will be saved from God’s wrath through Jesus. Even though I was once God’s enemy, I now have peace with God because I am reconciled to Him through the death of His Son. Since I am reconciled, I will be saved through His life and resurrection. I give thanks and rejoice in God through my LORD Jesus Christ because I am reconciled to God.
Sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and death entered the world through sin. In this way, death came to the world and to all people because all who have been born of the seed of a man have sinned. Sin was in the world long before the Law of the Torah was given; but because there was no Law of the Torah, sin did not make anyone guilty because there was no Law. Even so, regardless of this fact, death still reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. Death reigned over everyone in the world even though they did not sin by breaking a command like the command Adam broke.
The gift of righteousness is not like the trespass. Though many died because of the trespass of the one man, Adam, greater is God’s grace and the gift of righteousness that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, and it overflows to all who will believe. God’s gift of righteousness cannot be compared with the judgment and condemnation that followed one man’s sin. Instead, the gift of righteousness followed many trespasses and brought justification. Even though by the trespass of the one man, Adam, and death reigned through that one man, I receive God’s abundant provision of grace because the gift of righteousness reigns in my life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
In summary, one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people.
One righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
Through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners.
Through the obedience of the one man, the many are made righteous.
The Law was given so that the trespass might increase and be recognized. God, in His mercy, declares that where sin increased, grace increased a hundred fold. Even though sin reigned in death, grace reigns through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior.

On June 5 and December 5 pray: In the name of the LORD Jesus and by the grace of the Holy Spirit, it is written that I have been made righteous by the faithfulness of Jesus, and I have peace with God through my LORD Jesus the Messiah. It is through the faithfulness of Jesus that I have gained access into this grace in which I now stand. This grace is my new position in Christ. I stand in His grace because I am righteous, and I have peace with God. I boast in the hope of the glory of God. I also glory in my suffering because I know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Hope does not bring shame to me because God’s love has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit who has been given to me. Amen.
